 The way that our deposit system works is that the deposit merely saves your spot, and then based on a series of behavioral and temperament evaluations over a 4 week span, WE best match the puppies with the prospective owners. Upon filling out our contract which can be found below, we also encourage every applicant to write a detailed description of specific character traits that are important to them, as well as a description of their lifestyle so we can best match the puppies with their new owners. Please attach the description in an email with the Puppy Agreement attached to kschwarzy@aol.com.

 

All of our VSD puppies are priced at $4000 (both show and working; there is not such thing as a "pet" bloodline.) If you wish to have your puppy cropped, a custom ear crop can be arranged by long time veterinarian/ear cropping specialist Dr. Katie Gardner or the famous Ann Midgarden depending on scheduling for an additional $800 which is due in full at pick-up. We require a 1/2 down deposit to reserve your spot for one of our puppies ($2,000). We also welcome our puppies to stay natural (either just ears or ears and tail), or allow our buyers to use their own vet for ear crop if that is preferred. IF YOU CHOOSE TO HAVE US DO THE EAR CROPPING FOR YOUR PUPPY, THEY MUST BE PICKED UP THE SAME DAY AS THE CROP! NO EXCEPTIONS! If not, there will be a $50/day fee for us to separate and care for the puppies ears. All puppies will have their first round of vaccinations, health certificate and full examination by a board certified veterinarian, dewormed, health guarantee, AKC paperwork, and lifetime breeder support.

These puppies will do best in competitive sport, personal protection, obedience, dock diving, and or very active pet homes. We will prioritize working homes for this combination. ** We are not only breeders at VSD, we are also trainers and behaviorists. If you would like us to keep your puppy with us for an additional month for post surgical ear care, potty, crate, leash, and basic obedience training for an additional $4,200 for the month, please let us know! **
